Krysta Giles-Hansen, RPF: Resource Analyst

Krysta graduated from Canterbury University in New Zealand with a Forestry and Chemistry degree in 2004. Krysta has over 5 years experience in BC forestry, gaining field experience in VRI data collection, silviculture surveying, ecosystem mapping (PEM/TEM), ecosystem mapping accuracy assessment (AA) and site index-biogeoclimatic ecosystem classification (SIBEC) sampling. This field experience has allowed Krysta to have a strong and broad understanding of BC forestry and has complemented her main professional focus: resource analysis. Krysta has been intimately involved in all stages of many analysis projects including timber supply review, timber supply analysis and management plans, timber supply impact assessment, old growth management area location and optimization, carbon modelling, silviculture type 2 analysis projects, fibre supply and mountain pine beetle impact modelling.
